Why I don’t offer acrylic or dip — and what I recommend instead

One of the most common questions I get is:

“Do you do acrylics or dip?”

And my answer is simple - I don’t.

It’s not about trends or technique. It’s about nail health, precision, and long-term results!

Why I Don’t Offer Them?

- Both acrylic and dip systems can be harsh on the natural nail - especially when overfiled, removed incorrectly, or layered too heavily. Over time, this leads to thin, weak, or damaged nails.

- They also limit precision. Dip powder doesn’t allow control near the cuticle, and acrylic dries quickly, making it harder to create clean structure and balance.

- Plus, clients today are looking for gentler, cleaner alternatives - with less odor, fewer chemicals, and longer-lasting results.

What I use instead:

I work exclusively with e-file dry manicures and structured gel techniques.

These methods are:

• Non-damaging

• Precise and detailed

• Flexible but strong

• Ideal for natural nail growth and long wear

My work is focused on natural nail care and clean structure - and that means I don’t rush or stack back-to-back clients all day.

I take time with each set, making sure the prep is perfect, the application is smooth, and the final result is something I’m proud of. Once clients try this technique, they rarely go back!
